"I love this little bug. You can get it in butterfly or bumblebee models also. It's small so doesn't take up a lot of space in the pot. I put it into a dry pot and it told me right away to water. I watered, the light went off. It came back on a few days later to tell me the soil was getting dry again. You can move it from plant to plant to check water status. It's really cute and ladybugs are one of my favorite insects, so this fit in with my decor as well."
Thirsty Light Butterfly
Welcome to the digital age of plant care! While most gardeners and horticulture enthusiasts know that not enough water can be deadly for their greenery, the opposite is also true. With the Thirsty Light you’ll always know when your plant's water supply is just right.
The Thirsty Light Butterfly is a digital plant moisture sensor that blinks an LED to alert the user when it's time to water a potted plant. It is designed to be unobtrusive when left in the soil of a plant, where it continuously monitors conditions, testing the moisture level once per second.
